Coach Brax

Coach Brax is the co-founder and athletic director at Under Pressure Basketball Academy. Witnessing kids’ lives changing for the better at M.I.A. Hoops, a basketball program he founded in 2016, inspired Coach Brax to launch our basketball academy. With three years of college basketball as a starting point guard and one year of semi-professional basketball experience, he has gained extensive knowledge of the game from different perspectives.

Coach Brax started his coaching career as an assistant coach for Gulliver Prep. He then moved on to become the head JV coach at Miami Christian High School. Coach Brax is currently the head basketball coach at an independent JUCO, Miami Sports Academy. He has also worked various basketball camps across the country and as an on-court trainer for an NBA Combine.
